These two venerable York Institutions, FYAG (founded 1948) and YPS (founded 1822) now support the York Museums Trust in its crucial cultural role in the City. This is an opportunity for members of both FYAG and YPS to meet and socialise together, hopefully as a first move for closer collaboration in the future. There will be short talks by Kathryn Blacker, CEO of YMT and the Chairs of the two Societies, David Harbourne (YPS) and Charles Martindale (FYAG).
